I have been teaching for 10 years on various levels. I've taught part-time in high schools as a college student, music stores, as well as privately. I love to build a curriculum that is specific to each student's needs. I.e. I like to work with students and help them reach the goals that they have set for themselves. I have an associates in arts backgrounds, and traversed the Guilford College music minor program in good standing. I have studied under a jazz guitarist, and was part of a high-ranking high school drumline during my high school days. I have studied privately in areas of Rock, Folk, and Blues especially. I grew up playing both piano and drums. In addition to my Piano Masters at Peabody, I minored in percussion and performed with the Peabody Percussion ensemble in Carnegie Hall. In the Air Force I played piano with the Washington State Air National Guard Jazz band for two years. I then transferred to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard where I played Tympani and other percussion for the Air Force Symphonic Band in Harrisburg. Read More
