Every student is a universe in itself and every universe is unique and precious. I believe one of the most important things in teaching is understanding. Deeply understanding the student and be flexible to constantly find different and more effective ways to deliver, depending on each individual, is the strength of my method. Every student is a different world and every world is unique and precious. Ultimately, I believe lighting up the students inner fire of curiosity and passion, is one of the greatest lesson that can be taught. Read More

My teaching style is simple, it is to help you be the best musician that you can be! Whether it is working out of books, or playing to records. I want to help you get to the next level! Having fun is also a huge part of my lessons, if we are not having fun then what is the point? I like setting goals and lesson plans for my students so that we can track your progress together. I teach a variety of music to a variety of people, ranging from classical composition to hip-hop songwriting and production, classical voice to pop, rock, and punk vocals, baroque piano to free jazz synthesizers, and maybe noteverything in between, but I try to get close.I have been teaching privately since 2006, with a special focus on teaching both children and adults with special needs. One of the greatest sources of joy and exhilaration I have experienced throughout my teaching career occurs every time one of my students performs, and I get to witness the hard work and determination they have implanted into their playing. Every time they smile while playing their instrument is the single most rewarding feeling I have encountered in my years as a teacher, and I relish the opportunity to bask in that feeling every chance I get. I'm a versatile drummer/percussionist who loves teaching and sharing knowledge about music and arts in general. Graduated from Berklee College of Music with a full scholarship I've been performing and recording around the U.S for the last 4 years. Performances has always been my principal interest but currently I'm deeply involved with teaching because I have been developing a new way of learning instruments based on a more conscious state of mind involving meditation, all this thanks to my studies in Qi-Gong (Chinese Art of Movement) Read More

I have performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Brazil and was a member of the 42 date 2015 Wheatus 15th anniversary European tour. With the band, I also appeared on the Ray D'Arcy show, featured live on Ireland's premiere TV network RT One, and headlined the Trebur Open Air Festival (Germany) and Sligo Summer Festival (Ireland), playing for up to 10,000 people. I've been teaching all kids and adults for over 15 years. I 'm awesome with kids (so the parents have told me!)... I don't adhere to any rigid format. I work with what level and progression suits you, and I'm super-easy to get along with. Also, I believe in positive reinforcement. There are some old school teachers who sometimes degrade a pupil when they're not doing an exercise correctly. I don't teach like it's the ancient Roman Byzantine era, where teachers would slap a student's hand with a riding crop! Read More
