I began teaching when I was 17 and have a pretty busy schedule of up to 35 students a week! Many of those students still continue to take lessons after 3 years of instruction and have improved beyond their original goals. I find that each student has different interests (rock, jazz, classical, pop, etc.) which is why I enjoy focusing on what they want to learn. I really enjoy teaching because of the experiences I had with my teachers in my early years of learning the drums and I've always wanted to give that information to others. Having work with all levels of students, I understand that and recognize that I want to tailor my lessons to the students needs so they can be most successful. I love to adapt the different goals that different people can have. As long as my students are willing to have fun and open their ears, everything is achievable.
