I 1987 I graduated from McLennan Community College with an Associates Degree in Music Performance. Apart from being the drummer for Seek Irony, I worked as a professional session drummer for ten years before moving to the US about a year and a half ago. I used to play drums for half of the music industry in Israel. So far, I’ve recorded drums on over fifty records and performed over a thousand shows in my drumming career.Right before moving to the US, I was asked to record drums for a special musical project on a song that involved Israel and China’s top singers and was meant to celebrate a twenty-year anniversary of diplomacy between the two countries. As skills in rudiments and basic patterns develop, I go on to materials such as Syncopation by Ted Reed (reading,coordination,technique), and Stick Control by George Lawrence Stone (technique). I started playing drums and percussion 12 years ago, both classically, and privately trained. I was taught all play styles, and approaches to percussive arts. In high school, I was apart of a drum line and in 2015, I started drumming in a Rockabilly group in southern Illinois. Shortly after, I began to fill in for a rock band, jazz band, and another rockabilly band in the area. Since moving to Texas, I have started to teach with Hays CISD as a guest teacher/tutor.
