I enjoy hearing the students natural abilities, understanding what kind of music pours out of them, acknowledge that, and from there we develop it. At the same time, direct the student with technique, theory and any other tools that will facilitate the music they are passionate about. Sometimes that means working out of a book...there are many great drum books. We can work together to find the one that is right for you. When I first subbed in as a teacher, I knew teaching music was for me. I am a multi-instrumentalist,performer,songwriter,producer,as well as being an instructor of music.
