Sometimes I will make audio recordings of a student to track progress. For a student to sit and really listen to the improvemnets they have made I find to be one of my best teaching tools. In 2005 she was awarded 3rd prize of the concerto competition as well as a substitute position with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra where she had the opportunity to play many of the greatest orchestral masterpieces under world-renowned conductors. Shortly after graduating she moved to the city of Cincinnati OH, where she studied privately with the principal flute of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Randolph Bowman.
