Since 2009, I worked with a distinguished Professor Mate Bekavac on specialized approaches to the standards of music pedagogy. As a result, I have developed a teaching method, which combines ‘awareness instruction method’, with basic teachings in music. I create my own custom lesson plan or materials for each student. One of the most important aspects of clarinet playing is developing a good sound; therefore, working towards a solid foundation of the fundamentals is essential. After acquiring a basic foundation it is time to make some music! I usually suggest pieces or repertoire according to the student level but also ask the student to pick a piece/music of their choice.
