Every student is different, so the first thing I like to do is get to know them as a musician, where they are on their instrument, and what they wish to accomplish in lessons. I want to keep the student comfortable with what they are working on and at the same time find ways to go beyond the comfort zone. Samantha participated in masterclasses with conductors and world-renowned musicians including Steven White and Barbara Bonney. She performed solo and chamber pieces in while touring the historical city during their festival season. Samantha went on to teach pre-school-2nd grade general music at Miller Driscoll Elementary School in Wilton CT. She taught private voice and piano lessons across Connecticut and New York through the Wilton Conservatory, Southbury Music Studio, and Harrison School of Music. Read More

For my older students I always try and find out what they would like to focus on specifically. I usually begin with what they feel their musical strengths and weaknesses are. From there we build up their strengths and create newer strengths. I create my own personal lesson plans to cater to each individual student.
