The way I learned is the way I teach. I was taught the same way multiple ways and because of this I can give students different avenues to learn the same thing. So if they don't understand it in A, or B, I still have C, and D as a back up. I try to include the student to help navigate their own lesson plan and figure out what they want to focus on. Depending on the student's age and wishes, the lesson will be a playful voice exploration or knowledge-sharing instructions. For all my students, I use physiologically based training methods, when it comes to voice technique. After some time, I know your voice better to lead you to a legit yet powerful sound or work with you on genre-specific details. I implement improvising games into my lessons, as they let my students play with their musical ideas and make use of their creativity. Read More

I want the lessons to be a fun and exciting process. I love working with ages 11-85 and try to accommodate and feel how their singing becomes more and more joyful. Singing scales, breathing at times against a wall, moving arms and singing with joy, all help students enjoy and create the sound and rhythms they are comfortable with. I always encourage students to believe in their talents and choose repertoire they love! Read More

For me, nothing is more rewarding, than to see my students follow and pursue their dreams. I believe that all students are able to carry their dreams out to the fullest as long as they put a little hard work and dedication. I enjoy bringing this to the classroom because it shows my students they are able to do anything that they put their heart and soul into. I encourage my students to work on their own pace by practicing as often as possible, while still challenging my student as much as possible. Read More
