While in graduate school, I sang the roles of Betto di Signa in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Count Paris in Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette, and John Brooke in Adamo’s Little Women, all with IU Opera Theater. If a student loves playing by ear, we seek knowledge of composition more, if they are inspired to play Star Wars, we add that to the repertoire. The most effective lessons are one on one between the teacher and student. I like to provide both a fun learning experience and results. Hello, I'm Mackenzie B.. I'm currently a student at the University of Kansas for a Bachelors in Music Education. I am student teaching currently, which is my last step before receiving my degree. I currently work with Kerry Marsh for the KU Jazz Singers and enjoy singing both classical and jazz music. I also have two or three ukuleles and enjoy jamming with an acoustic guitar.
