I'm a passionate musician and teacher and would love to be your instructor! My love and experience is primarily in guitar, voice, and piano. I graduated from Gordon college in 2008 with a degree in music education and taught K-8 grade for several years, which included directing children's choirs, teaching private lessons, and teaching general music to many ages. The first half of a typical voice lesson is spent on vocal warm-ups and vocalises. These consist of scales, arpeggios, vowel unification, breath work, etc. and have been accumulated from many teachers over a variety of traditions. Vocalises are the most important part of a solid vocal technique. The second half of lessons is spent working on repertoire either brought in by the student or assigned by myself.
