As natural as a singing voice can be it still takes effort and hard work to maintain your sound or keep yourself relevant. I self taught myself a lot. Through this self teaching I was able to help others go through the same process a little easier. I spent hours if not shut ins (days of just soaking and singing) editing and correcting my tone. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
