Through my college experience, I have had the opportunity to sing all over the world. Sharing my love of music has always been a big part of my life. I studied Voice Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music and have a degree from Case Western Reserve University where I studied Art and Music Theory performed in University theatre productions. During my undergraduate career, I taught lessons to vocal and piano students in the Chicago area. I truly loved working with those students, and I am looking forward to getting back into teaching now that I have settled in Bowling Green. The students that I had in the past immensely inspired me, and I always left lessons feeling positive and hopeful. My method varies with each student. I listen to the students needs and use my expertise to help them achieve their goals. For younger students, I use a variety of material but very much like The Royal Conservatory Program. In the age of, "American Idol", "The Voice" and "Glee", everyone wants to be a star overnight. While this enthusiasm is wonderful, it is sometimes difficult to direct students to material that suits their voice and will build their instrument. Read More

In December of the same year, I began my work as Music Director at St. Thomas More Church in Troy, part of the Diocese of Detroit. My work there was different from my previous position. This was a more “contemporary parish”. I used mostly contemporary catholic repertoire and had a strong focus on developing the vocal technique of the choir members. My work at both parishes was successful, and I am confident that my references can attest to the quality of my work as a conductor. Read More
