Ever since a child, I've loved learning, music and sharing my passions! Through grade school I grew into the role of a leader and a musical/visual artist. In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education with a minor in Spanish. My students focus on learning to use their whole body as their instrument with proper breathing, posture, and diction. Once great technique is learned, you can use this knowledge for any style and maintain a healthy voice. My methods vary on the student and subject. Beginning students will typically focus more on technical pieces of music to improve on certain aspects of a few pieces to perform. More advanced students will still practice technical parts of their music, but less time will be spent on it during a lesson. Advanced level students will spend more time on repertoire and performance. The more advanced a student gets, the more I expect them to practice outside of lessons and apply their newly learned technical skills into their music on their own. Read More

Hello! I have been teaching for over 20 years and specialize in teaching violin, viola, voice, music theory, beginning voice, and sitar. I absolutely love to teach and support the mental health and well-being of all my students. I obtained a BA in Psychology and BM in Viola Performance from Oberlin Conservatory in 2010, and a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory in Viola Performance in 2013.
