I am a classically-trained singer and piano player  with over 10 years of private teaching experience.  I have performed in several recitals including the Early Boston Music Festival.  In addition, I have performed with sveral different choirs throughout the years. Singing lessons will be tailored to the individual student's goals, interests, and experience level, and I encourage all voice students to take initiative when it comes to how they would like to develop as singers, whether that be in pursuit of a performance career, pure hobby, or stress relief. These lessons are broken up into two focuses: the first half of the lesson will focus on breathing and technical exercises, learning to warm up the voice in the healthiest and most beneficial way. If a student picks out a song that doesn't suit him/her, I will help them find the right song for them - building them a diverse repertoire that they can sing any time and any where, without any struggle.
