From then on, I began to study classical guitar in conjunction with a repertoire of Brazilian and Latin music. I find ways to make these more mundane parts of the lesson fun with games and veiled learning that keep students engaged. I've seen the face of an 80 year old grasping the ukulele and finally getting to hear himself playing his own songs, and seeing the glow in his eyes like a child.
