My teaching style is heavily student focused: By listening to my student's voice and choice, I want to work together to create musical goals for them that we can develop as we progress. While I believe in creating a learning environment focused on intrinsic motivation, I hope my positive attitude and love for music can serve as a source of inspiration for my students! The most important aspect of any lesson is the joy that we bring to it, which is crucial to us developing musical skills and beautiful music. Read More

My teaching style is very unique and I call it the chameleon music style. Just like the chameleon changes color to his surrounding environment, I like to be open for change. According to the students needs and convent from the parents I can push the students to excellent technical abilities, but I can also be fun and not make the lessons boring. In my music studio there are no judgements and no shaming. Read More

I always start my lessons off with vocal exercises in order to assess the status of the voice and what we need to work on, and also what progress has been made since our last session, if any. In order to keep my students interested, I like to work on repertoire that theyre interested in and that they select. I definitely suggest pieces that I think might help practice areas of their vocal technique that they would like to improve, but I also want to make sure its music that they like and want to sing. I want my students to have a passion for music and be interested in improving as a musician. Each student should set their own goals, with the help of their parents and/or teacher, to have a clear path of what they want to achieve. Auditioning for various opportunities and participating in competitions is highly encouraged. This teaches students how to prepare with practice, and how to observe other students and learn from them. Read More

Singing lessons will be tailored to the individual student's goals, interests, and experience level, and I encourage all voice students to take initiative when it comes to how they would like to develop as singers, whether that be in pursuit of a performance career, pure hobby, or stress relief. These lessons are broken up into two focuses: the first half of the lesson will focus on breathing and technical exercises, learning to warm up the voice in the healthiest and most beneficial way. I usually take the first lesson to gauge what the student wants from learning their specific instrument. If they want to learn a specific song, if they want to get better at a certain genre, or if they just want something to do as a hobby! I believe it is counterproductive to force a certain system or lesson series that the student is not interested in. I have tons of practice books, scales, and warmups that I like to use to help the student become more proficient and confident in their craft. Read More

I teach based on what is best suited for the learner. All students learn differently and at different speeds. Students will be able to choose repertoire and learn technique through the music they love. Students are encouraged to discuss the music that they are interested in, their goals, and interests. Students will be encouraged to practice and will be recognized when they have success and accomplishments. Learning about the student also helps me to understand their future goals with music.
