The student usually responds quite favorably to new genre’, but if they don’t, we move on to another song that won’t just help them learn, but will be fun or enjoyable for them to learn. I am a full time student graduating in a year with hopes of singing part time as a worship Leader through Evangelism; yet, I also wish to work as a Business administrator for non-profits, and as a government social worker helping the less fortunate. I began teaching at the Erie Playhouse Summer Youtheatre Camp on my summers home from college. The students were ages 5-16 and we taught them basic music theory, as well as numerous musical theater and jazz standards throughout the week.
