I studied guitar with international performing artist Anna Maria Rosado and composition with American composer Annette Le Siege.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Guitar Performance from New Jersey City University.  I have performed extensively in small venues throughout Vermont, and was a house musician for several seasons at the Yosemite Theater in Yosemite National Park, California. My students generally focus on vowel shape, vocal placement, breathing technique, and expanding range through knowledge of the head, chest, and mix voices (including belting). For beginner students I always like to start from the Hal Leanords Essential Elements. It is a great way to start a student off and provides them the fundamentals they need to improve. After that I like to mix in a combination of scales and etudes to continue their technical training while introducing solo pieces to give them something more interesting to play.
