I first started teaching when my piano teacher assigned me to be her assistant back in 2009, I provided her 7-28 year old students with singing lessons. As I proven myself to be an accomplished instructor I received a job as Choir Instructor at School of Music 'Vladimir Djordjevic', where I worked for 1 year before heading to Boston to start my studies at Berklee. In 2010 I started teaching private lessons part time in my home studio, where I conducted voice, piano, music theory, and solfeggio lessons to a total of 16 students, who showed incredible improvements over all 4 years that they stayed under my instruction. For my piano students, I like to use a mixture of books from the Alfred, Bastien, and John W. Schaum collections. I eventually assign more advanced solo repertoire as the student progresses. For my vocal students, I pick music based on their interests and vocal qualities. I have taught my students musical theater, opera, art song, gospel, pop, and many other styles throughout the years. I also like to make sure my students have a solid understanding in music theory and often give out worksheets that help them practice how to sight read, recognize different key signatures, and more. Music is a great art form to express emotion and passion for something we cannot say in words. In church, I teach the choir to express their feelings of joyfulness when praising God. Outside church, I've taught privately in piano and voice for twelve years, five with Musika. I've never stopped teaching private lessons, but I've also taught group lessons and music classes in private schools, I've taught adult classes and I've taught college classes at two schools in New Jersey.
