My faculty positions at the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College and Concordia College of Music involved preparing many teenagers and undergrad level singers for performing careers, and I have a solid reputation for my Westchester studio that is always full of singers of all ages. I make sure the music is appropiate for the age and level of each student. For beginner students who are children, I will typically start with Bastien Piano Elements and/or Piano Adventures. Additionally, I'll incorporate popular musical melodies in EZ plays and have my students begin learning chords so they can begin lead sheet reading some of their favorite tunes.
