I have been an active music teacher now for over 3 years. However, teaching is not the only thing I do. I am constantly working on music of all styles with all walks of life. I am currently producing dozens of artists from all around the country out of my home studio. I am also in several gigging bands. I make sure the music is appropiate for the age and level of each student. However, many of my students work in the pop realm. I apply a classical vocal methodology to pop technique so that students can make active vocal decisions in a stylized environment based on genre. My piano lessons are structured similarly starting with warmups/exercises depending on the student's skill level and technique we are learning. This can include different things like playing scales, or other finger exercises to develop dexterity in technique. Read More

For all my students I design a fun atmosphere where they feel comfortable, stimulated and encouraged to absorb musical knowledge. Depending on their musical backgrounds and their ability I discuss with my students and their parents(depending on student's age) what is their primary goal to achieve during the lesson, what style they want to concentrate on. When we get to know each other I assign my student with Vaccai classical tune (practices vocal technique) and two songs in style preferred, when a student learns and masters these we move on, with more difficult tunes each time. I have also performed with the American Symphony, Bach Aria Group, Musica Sacra, and the music festivals of Tanglewood, Basically Bach, Mostly Mozart, Ravinia, Saratoga, Madiera Bach, Mann Music Center (Philadelphia), Winter Park Bach Festival, Wolf Trap, Blossom Festival, and May Festival, Cincinnati.
