Intermediate and Advance will use the Foundations for superior performance book. We will start to pick solos that they are able to play and work on them. I started teaching privately in 2010 as part of a class assignment, and discovered I really enjoy doing it. I also love teaching and conducting choirs and have done that in various capacities for the past several years. I really believe that singing in choir is the best vocal training for young students. I typically give students 2 or 3 songs to practice at a time, and I always include a classical or folk art song, and a musical theater song.
