For adults, I start by finding out if they are adult beginner, or adult intermediate, depending on the knowledge of singing and technique. My time in high school led me to perform in several high profile venues which include: Orlando Theme Parks, halftime shows with Ronnie Millsap, and The Georgia Mass Choir. The material I teach covers scales, chords, and music theory. We can practice a variety of exercises that help improve your rhythm and dexterity. In order to tie everything together, I think it is important to play music with each other and along with recorded music as an example.
