I'm a fun, motivated and passionate instructor.  I graduated from McGill University's Schulich School of Music in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance, with voice as my main instrument.  Since then I have been teaching and performing around New York at historic venues such as Birdland, The Plaza, Iridium, Bitter End, amongst others.  I have also recorded an album with Grammy nominated producer and arranger Rob Mounsey and perform with the world-famous Postmodern Jukebox.  I have taught a variety of genres, ages, and levels of students.  Through my performance, recording, and teaching experiences, I’ve acquired substantial knowledge to bestow on my students.  It’s a true gift to be able to share my love of music and to help my students reach their potential.   Read More

I love music and love teaching the fundamentals of singing. Along with my background as an English Teacher, I'm able to help students with diction and breath control with singing. I come from a family of wedding singers but my love of performance came from joining a capella groups. I love collaboration and using the voice to create sounds. Young students need more guidance than older students and are encouraged to broaden their musical tastes and explore what will ignite their musical imaginations. I began teaching music when I was 18, I began teaching private drums and piano lessons in my home studio, I've been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Upon graduation, I got my first music teacher position at Rishon Lezion conservatory, I taught private saxophone, flute, drums, and piano lessons as well as group music theory lessons and directed students ensembles. truly believe that singing should be a combination of passion and also technique. My lessons will focus on the fundamentals of singing in order to provide healthy vocal technique and a beautiful tone. It is extremely important in all genres for singing to have support, be able to use breath properly and have an understanding how of use the voice as an instrument properly to acheive a beautiful tone. I love having my students use notebooks to keep track of their own goals, practice habits and achievements. I think this is a great way to have them keep themselves on track and it's also a neat way to track progress! As a teacher, I like to encourage my students to be self-motivated so they can improve on their own. Taking lessons is obviously important but it is also crucial for students to practice the materials learned in lessons on their own time. Read More
