I begin with the basics of breath control and work to help each student find their natural voice. I use different vocal exercises to help improve tone and range and then incorporate what we've learned from those exercises into singing songs. Henry is an incredibly experienced piano instructor in northern New Jersey, working with students of all ages and skill levels.Henry is an active member of two bands: one is a progressive rock group where he writes original compositions, and the second is a Beatles tribute band that regularly plays in the area. I will also choose music for students who don't have their own or would like ideas to set them in the right direction. I usually devote some time to teaching sight-reading in my lessons when someone is unsure of how to read music, and the rest of the time will be focused on the actual mechanics of vocal production and performing. I like to emphasize a consistent schedule of practice, so that this helps the student progress in their studies.
