I can teach opera, musical theatre and pop as well as songwriting and music theory. Besides finding the voice, I also do personal development coaching and confidence training. I am an active performer and educator in the NYC area. I graduated Cum Lade from The City College of NY and received a Bachelors degree of fine arts in Jazz performance. I started teaching private lessons in high school. I taught guitar, bass, piano, voice, and songwriting lessons at Biryukov Academy of Arts and Music for 5 years for both kids and adult beginners. I have performed, written and music directed a children's theatre tour where I taught children to sing, act, and perform in front of large crowds. I will test range via keyboard and show activities concerning different diction exercises and breathing techniques. Every student has different learning needs and I tailor my lesson pace around them. I come from a deep musical heritage and chose the trombone as my main instrument for spiritual reasons. While attending Los Angeles County High School for The Arts, I studied with jazz and trombone legends. Since moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, I've been studying with masters from many different disciplines.
