I sang in middle school and high school choir. Singing got me a scholarship to college. I graduated from King University with a double major in Music Education and Vocal Performance. I received my Doctorate of Musical Arts from UT Austin in 2013, and spent 2014-2020 teaching full time voice on the university level at Northeastern State University (OK) and then Valdosta State University (GA).
