I did musical theater shows, but also performed in classical choirs and church choirs, teaching me various types of musical styles. I started teaching while I was in college back in Texas and then moved to New York to pursue a career in Musical Theatre. I kept students from Texas online (some of whom are still with me today) and took a year and a half break from new students to do an international tour and an off-broadway show.
