I was drawn to education and instruction from a young age, and began helping younger musicians through a local mentoring program, then volunteered as a student tutor and teacher's aide in musical and english programs. In May 2019, I defended what became the first comprehensive dissertation in English about the scarcely-known in Western countries composer, Arno Babadjanian. Once the student gets down the fundamentals and becomes more technically proficient, I introduce solo repertoire and get them started with some fun and musical etudes to improve finger dexterity. As students progress in their piano studies, I begin introducing solo repertoire that will support the concepts being learned in the book series.
