Student Teacher at LaGuardia High School
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I studied music at NYU and have had the opportunity to sing several concerts and perform in musicals in regional and Off-Broadway theaters. I started my studio to provide a space where students can learn in a positive environment.
While in school, I had the opportunity to student teach at LaGuardia High School. I loved working with the students there. I worked with students in private lessons as well as in choirs. I have coached students for competitions and auditions but also love working with students who are taking lessons for the fun of it!
I like to start every lesson with a warmup including breathing exercises and vocalises. Students can either bring in repertoire they'd like to work on or I will suggest material. We will work for freeing the voice in a healthy way while learning repertoire that interests the student.
I Beleve in teaching through exploration in a joyous, supportive environment! Whether you're starting at the very beginning or brushing up on skills learned long ago, I will guide you through exercises to free your voice. My studio is a place of positivity.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
