Through the my Master's degree at CCM I kept a small private studio of piano and voice students. I am now up to 26 students and work full time teaching and performing. I like to create very clear imagery that builds over time. The voice is not something we can see or touch, so I often joke that singing is about learning Jedi mind tricks that help us achieve a healthy technique. I like to incorporate theory/musicianship and some piano into my lessons to create a well rounded understanding of singing as a musician. I'm a passionate musician and instructor that recently graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance. I have been playing for 8 years and have put on three collegiate recitals. I have served in the Florida Youth Symphony's Flute Choir, and as the principal in the University Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Flute Choir at Cedarville. I'm taking a year or two off to bolster my savings before pursuing a graduate degree in performance and going on to get a Ph.D. in musicology. Read More
