I truly love helping people uncover their passion for singing and developing their unique voice. During the first lesson, I ask the students about their musical goals and if there are particular techniques they feel they want or need to master. I ask the student to keep a record of this, as having a mission or musical goals is vital in keeping engaged with practice. After graduating from Hofstra University in 2014, I have had the opportunity to work in regional theatre and recording in and out of NY. I am currently an EMC working towards getting my Actors Equity union membership. I have the honor of having Broadway star Robert Cuccioli as a musical theatre acting coach, as well as renowned musical theatre coach Stephen Purdy. In addition to continuing my career as a performer, I have also enjoyed the gift of teaching voice to Broadway star Jake Katzman, of the Broadway production of Kinky Boots. Read More

I have been teaching voice for almost 20 years now. I have found that it doesn't matter the age if you have a love of singing then you can learn. I have had many students and it's so much fun to watch them learn and grow and find out that everyone has a voice and is capable of singing. Each student is a bit different and part of the fun is learning how to help them move forward whether through vocal exercises, ear training, learning how to breathe or just giving them the confidence they need to sing out loud. Since I have been playing piano at age 5, I have performed Kabalevsky’s Piano Conerto No. 3 in D Major with Yuba Shuttle Orchestra in California. Besides performing in different states in US, I have been performing opera productions, such as Madama Butterfly, Romeo and Juliette, Rigoletto, Sour Angelica, The Flying Dutchman, and Solo Recitals in Italy, Japan, and Hong Kong etc. Read More

Vocally, I believe good basic technique is the same for every genre of music. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on learning to breathe and support your sound correctly as well as maintain good posture, rid your body of unwanted tensions, etc.; musical styles beyond that basic technique change only in small stylistic ways, and I am knowledgeable in quite a variety of most musical styles.
