My teaching experience has been ongoing in the last 10 years. Mostly, people have heard me sing or attended one of my performances and from that moment on mostly the parents have approached me to become a vocal for their children or themselves. If a student is not having fun in their lessons, then I'm not doing my job! I have been playing the piano almost all my life. The passion I have for music of all kinds is contagious. My parents were opera singers, I grew up in a Latin American setting, and I performed with a symphony orchestra at the age of 13. I have taught piano to students of all levels and ages. I have been giving private music lessons for the past 10 years to students of all age groups. I am always looking to broaden the minds of aspiring beginners and the advanced players who seek to further their musical odyssey's.  I enjoy all genres of music. While I aim to help students become their best, I ultimately want them to have fun above all else. I believe progress looks different for everyone, and I am very patient and happy to go over something more than once. Learning an instrument is more of a marathon than a sprint in my eyes, and I hope to guide each student on their own musical path. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. It's important that each of my students progress at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more.
