I don't believe in a one size fits all mentality for music education, I've often seen this approach derail students from enjoying the process and eventually terminating their relationship with music overall. Students are a case-by-case basis, and in that regard, each lesson is catered to the students actual goals and interests. I have experience in teaching voice and drums, dating back to my last semester in college. I have been able to teach young kids the absolute privilege of singing and performing. I really encourage my students to keep practice and warm up times at the top of their priority list. Improving your voice and performance abilities starts with warming up. I also encourage them to enter as many competitions as they can, as well as auditioning for as many shows across the country as they can, so that they can be noticed and people can see what they can do!
