Here, I taught many students both voice and piano. Two in particular required coaching in their respective pageant and regional championship. I also believe that learning should be enjoyable and inspiring, so I incorporate a blend of classical fundamentals with modern styles such as gospel, RB, and contemporary music to keep students engaged and motivated. If a student isn’t enjoying the process, then I know I need to adjust my approach. Growing up I’ve had a variety of coaches, one thing I noticed is that I was always lost enameled by the teachers that nurtured my creativity. Many times there are music teachers that only teach what they like and what they know. My students can expect to expand their versatility but as a smaller portion of the overall focus.
