I am a jazz vocalist who is new to the New York area! I graduated from the Frost School of Music, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in jazz voice in May 2023. I am currently working towards my master's degree at The Manhattan School of Music. I have been a private vocal and piano teacher for 6 years. I specialize in musical theater and jazz voice. My passion for singing dates back to when I was a child, singing in choirs and performing in churches. In 2011, I graduated from the Greatbach School of Music at Houghton College, earning a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance with honors. I have been blessed to perform in several regional theatre productions, as well as two off-Broadway shows. I have brought my love of coaching and teaching to these productions. For most piano students I start them off with 'An All In One Beginner Piano Course' with Andrew Fling. This introduces the piano in such an interesting way and has students advancing in only a few short lessons. I found that I could excel and after living two years in Bolivia, came back and studied voice with a well traveled professional baritone in Seattle.
