For beginning students I may introduce some Suzuki Method, but I mainly like to focus on technique making sure everything with the hands and posture is correct which will make it easier to learn more advanced techniques. For more advanced students I will show them how to use etudes to their advantage and some good practice techniques along with how to learn a piece from start to finish. I am a graduate of Olaf College, where I received my Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance (‘21). I played in the first violin section of the St. Olaf Orchestra, and have toured with them throughout the United States and abroad to notable venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Oslo Opera House. During my senior year, I served as co-concertmaster of the orchestra.
