I have been honored to play at many venues around the world including venues in the Czech Republic, Florida, New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Denver. I have been teaching violin since 2017. Every student's musical journey is unique and I work with their individual strengths to help them achieve their goals. I received my Suzuki Teacher Certification for Violin books 1-6 in 2018. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Violin Performance in May of 2016. For young beginners, I use a lot of the Suzuki Method of teaching. Music games, pitch recognition and rhythms are all introduced as games during the lessons. My adults study from a combination of pieces, exercises, scales and duets. I think understanding the pieces you are playing is important so students learn how to recognize key signatures and time signatures. I have many students participate in school orchestra and youth orchestra programs so students are coached on how to prepare, how to audition and learn how to cope with nerves. Read More

I use the Rubank Method for beginning, intermediate, and advanced clarinet and Saxophone. This series emphasizes the simple concepts to the advanced fundamentals, i.e. rhythm, articulation, breath support, fingerings. The lesson plans are incorporated in the Rubank Method with an easy progression through the fundamental starting with whole notes, half notes, quarter notes and simple to complex rhythms.
