I focus my energy on the positive aspects of a students playing while offering feedback to improve their playing abilities even more, while providing a bag of tools for continuous improvement they can use their entire life. I collaborate with my students to determine their needs and goals. When starting out with beginners, I usually start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements for Strings. I then transition to Suzuki repertoire. I also include music individual to each student based on their interests. My methods are flexible and designed to draw out the strengths of each student. I like to have open communication with my students, and I like to get feedback from my students about where they are at so I can meet them there. Read More

I started teaching private lessons at the age of 15. I am classically trained but do enjoy Celtic and fiddling music as well. I had the opportunity to voluntarily teach violin and cello at community center in 2017. I have also taught Suzuki group classes as well. I have received my Suzuki Teacher Training for Violin Books 1-6. I enjoy teaching all levels. Seeing others excel and progress is a great joy to me. Read More
