I view music as a language and believe in the importance of being able to manipulate it to convey a message to the listener. I allow students to choose the songs they learn and couple them with technical exercises to improve dexterity and familiarity with the instrument. Since graduating CSU I've performed as the Principal Violist of the Parker Symphony for 4 years, been an active member of a string quartet, played in multiple bands, and have also played with members of the band Devotchka. I had the opportunity to voluntarily teach violin and cello at community center in 2017. I have also taught Suzuki group classes as well.
