Lessons are geared to the individual student. I try to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere while providing a professional experience for the students. Theory is emphasized as well as technique for both the piano and voice student. Most voice students will get a basic knowledge of music reading skills while piano students tend to have a bit more in depth studies. The Rubank Method offers some solos, but in addition, for the High School student I teach them the Weber Concertino, Mozart Concerto- first movement, Brahms Second Sonata for the advanced High School and College student. Vocal warmups are for basic technique.I try to have my students sing a variety of music but most common among my students is Musical theatre and pop.
