Course Materials: I teach classical style music. I use the Suzuki books as repertoire for all students (I do not teach the Suzuki method though) and occasionally use other helpful materials such as Kreuitzer and Trott to teach intermediate students etudes, positions, and technique. Through these materials, I help every one of my students acquire the freedom that comes from a balanced position and relaxed motions. I have enjoyed a rich orchestral career, which has taken me across the country to perform with professional orchestras such as the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, the Battle Creek Symphony, the Amarillo Symphony, and many others. Additionally I have performed in numerous public concerts and events as a soloist and an ensemble musician. I use Suziki Violin Method, Bastian for piano. I have also been developing my own method, and it's dependant in the students agenda. I encourage the building of reperatore early on. I have also used Liytle Einstein piano method and varies products produced by Hal Leonard. I find the students goals are very formative to the approach I choose to take.
