I graduated from UNC-SA through both their highschool and collegiate programs. After earning my violin performance degree I continued to travel around the United States and Japan, teaching violin everywhere i went. Every student follows the reoccurring desire to make music for as long as it takes them before they actually begin to find their own musical voice. I first started tutoring younger students in violin when I was in high school, but after graduating from college I took on an instruction position at a local music school as Strings Instructor. There, I began teaching much younger students using mutli-sensory techniques to keep my students engaged and most importantly, having fun! Hello everyone! I am a board certified music therapist, but have thoroughly enjoyed teaching since I was 18! I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy. I have since then gotten my Suzuki Training and am hoping to continue my passion for teaching here in the Asheville area. I enjoy gigging, and jamming with friends.
