Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:
Instruments: Piano, Violin, Viola, Fiddle
I have played the viola at different gatherings, wedding, and talent shows, as well school performances from middle school through college. I love teaching. I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule as of the key points for beginners. It is also important to me that students have fun while learning. If a student does not have fun while learning, then that means I am not doing my job correctly! Read More

I was a part of my Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Ensembles all four years I attended college. When I was younger, I was a part of a traveling music group varying ages 7-18. My teaching philosophy revolved around the idea that music should be fun and engaging. While many teachers start their students off by learning how to read music, I like to begin with actually playing and familiarizing yourself with the instrument and later translating that information to written music notation. In your first lesson, we will play the instrument and learn a simple tune based on your skill level. I like to take into account the students music preference and learn what specifically they want to get out of private lessons. Read More

As a teacher i encourage my students to keep improving and progressing to the best of their ability. While I can be strict, I always try to make lessons fun, especially for young children because it is essential to their learning capability that they enjoy learning their instrument. Students are given opportunities, words, and support to increase their self confidence while constantly challenging them so that they can make the greatest strides possible to their own personal level and learning speed. For beginning piano students, I typically start with Faber's Piano Adventures. I also use these books as a foundation for intermediate students. After students have grasped the basics, I will talk with them to determine their interest in different musical styles and songs. I will then add in supplementary material to go alongside the Piano Adventures books to give them a broader range of musical ability. Violin lessons are a combination of the Suzuki Method and Strings Builders. Read More
