Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My curriculum is unique for each individual depending on their goals and age, however I generally start beginners out with Hal Leonard’s Essential Elements for Strings, and a few of my own exercises as needed. After they have become comfortable with the violin I begin them on the Suzuki books or other solo repertoire. As the student progresses I gradually phase out Essential Elements and replace it with elementary scale books and exercise books. Read More

Part of this system is encouraging my students to set their own realistic goals and walking them through how to reach them. I studied and worked at the same time, as well as playing in an orchestra, and I developed a strong work ethic.
