For beginning piano students, I typically start with Faber's Piano Adventures. I also use these books as a foundation for intermediate students. After students have grasped the basics, I will talk with them to determine their interest in different musical styles and songs. I will then add in supplementary material to go alongside the Piano Adventures books to give them a broader range of musical ability. My curriculum is unique for each individual depending on their goals and age, however I generally start beginners out with Hal Leonard’s Essential Elements for Strings, and a few of my own exercises as needed. After they have become comfortable with the violin I begin them on the Suzuki books or other solo repertoire. As the student progresses I gradually phase out Essential Elements and replace it with elementary scale books and exercise books. Read More

I use Suziki Violin Method, Bastian for piano. I have also been developing my own method, and it's dependant in the students agenda. I encourage the building of reperatore early on. I have also used Liytle Einstein piano method and varies products produced by Hal Leonard. I find the students goals are very formative to the approach I choose to take.
