I try to stress the importance of daily practice. I encourage my students to enjoy making music, and never to be discouraged. My four years playing in the Navy was an experience in learning that could not have been accomplished elsewhere. I traveled the world performing concerts everywhere and finally ending up being the lead trumpet with the then brand new Orlando Naval Training Center Show Band. After leaving the Navy, I formed my own show band and toured the US for five years, playing night clubs and backing up such entertainers as The Four Aces, Joanne Castle, Bobby Rydell, Fats Domino, Dick Contino and Al Hirt. In the first lessons, I explain the the beginner students the basic functionality of the instruments, the proper way to hold the instruments, how to produce a clear sound from the instruments and a Major scale ascending and descending, the one from which the first lessons or the next lessons is written. My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts.
