For older students, we will begin with trumpet repertoire while combining it with songs that you like to listen to. I am a passionate elementary school music educator who can "technically" play most instruments but trumpet was first in my heart when started playing it in 4th grade! I continued with it growing up and all the way through college where I graduated with a bachelor of science in music education K-12. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching elementary general music, chorus, beginner band. Having a strong foundation in creating a sound consistently and efficiently makes learning everything else about brass playing infinitely easier.
