I am from Brazil and in 2014 I graduated from Sao Paulo University with a bachelor in music education. In addition, I studied trumpet at Sao Paulo Municipal Conservatory from 2015 to the end of 2017. Recently, I got approved as a graduate student in performance at Florida Atlantic University. I was trumpet lead in the symphonic band of the Sao Paulo Municipal Conservatory, and I did participations in various musical groups like Young Symphonic Band From Sao Paulo State, Guarulhos Young Orchestra, Orchestra USP Philharmonic, and also I was trumpet player in a female HipHop band form 2014 to 2017. As a base, music is a body-mind experience. A lot of what makes music enjoyable to us has to do with our bodies and the natural way in which we react to rhythms and pitches. My teaching style points into the proprioception on how music impacts us. This is very important for me because when they achieve their goals, then they are happy and want more of that. Without fun this is impossible, if they really enjoy play their instrument, it never looks like hard work for them.
