Sharing music with my students is my greatest passion. I have been playing music since I was nine years old. Music has provided me with many valuable lessons and opportunities of which I instill on my students. I am a Trombonist, Guitarist, Composer and Arranger with a BFA in Jazz Performance from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. I start beginners out on basic methods books to understand them instrument that they are holding and then slowly ease them into more challenging and sophisticated repertoire, including Rochut Etudes, Kopprasch Exercises, Blazhevich, and Blume. For beginning students, I focus on the very first fundamentals of playing trombone and music which consists of simple music theory and fundamental technique of playing the trombone. Once those fundamentals are introduced and the students shows progression, I will assign etudes and solo repertoire to help improve on musicality and technique.
